comet-ms-dbg software package provides Tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) search engine - debug symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install comet-ms-dbg
comet-ms-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the comet-ms-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep comet-ms-dbg *
You will get with comet-ms-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
